Overview
Showing too many surveys to the same person leads to survey fatigue: users tune out, drop off, or give low-quality answers. We’ve added a global survey cooldown so that, by default, the same user won’t see another survey until a minimum gap has passed, keeping feedback respectful and response rates healthier for everyone.

Everyone gets a 2-day default cooldown out of the box. Premium customers can change this gap at the project level and, when they need to, override it for individual surveys so critical feedback moments aren’t blocked.
What’s New
- Project-wide cooldown (default 2 days): A minimum number of days must pass before the same user sees any other survey in your project. This applies across all your surveys and reduces over-surveying by default.
- Editable cooldown: On Premium plans, you can change the cooldown in Project Settings — set it to 0 for no gap, or increase it (e.g. 7 days) for stricter spacing.
- Per-survey override: For specific surveys that must run regardless of cooldown (e.g. post-purchase or support follow-up), you can enable Ignore global project cooldown in the survey’s behavior settings. That survey can still be shown even if the global cooldown period hasn’t passed.
What This Means for You
- Less fatigue, better data: Fewer repeat prompts to the same user means higher completion rates and more thoughtful answers.
- Sensible defaults: You get protection against over-surveying without extra setup.
- Control when you need it: Premium plans get full control: tune the gap project-wide and exempt individual surveys when the moment is too important to wait.
